1 Q-BOP process
КУ-БОП-процесс
Кислородно-конвертерный процесс получения стали из передельного жидкого чугуна с подачей кислорода в кольцевой защитной струе топливного газа через концентрич. фурмы в днище конвертера. Уд. расход кислорода ок. 3,3 м3/мин на 1 т стали, ср. длит, плавки — 35 мин, выход годного на 15 % больше, чем в конвертерах верхнего дутья. Разработан фирмой «United States Steel» (США) в 1970-х годах, усовершенствование процесса ОБМ.
